This project consists of circa 300 student rooms. The materiality reflects the pine trees and the natural backdrop of the fields and wild flowering surrounding the site. The scale of the project could be somewhat domineering if built with dark, more ubiquitous and conventional materials, however, the light timber breaks the scale and massing down into suitable and conscientious proportions.
