Last week was a week of reflection for us all as we looked back at how far we have come over the last 4 years.
So how did it all begin?
In 2018, we returned from traveling with a few clients that had been built up in the evenings and weekends. For 4 months, I worked from a HMO bedroom in Derby while Heidi went to work at Royal Derby Hospital, trying to make ends meet so we could move back to Lincoln to be nearer to family. We didn't know anything about business, where we wanted to take it, or how it was going to change our lives.
Throughout 2019 we invested in the business, learning about processes, and systems to make us more efficient, and eventually Heidi took the brave decision to join us part time. Websites were created, Podio became our bible for managing projects, and Daisy grew too big to sit on my knee! The box room wasn't big enough, so we decided to expand our premises to the spare room.
Towards the end of 2019, the two of us weren't enough for the plans we had and so we took the big step forward to hire someone. Jordan joined us in October with plans in place to grow - things were building around the corner and 2020 was going to be a big year for us.
